Ok i'm not sure where to start.... the car in question is a 95 talon tsi fwd 100k on the clock

I purchased this car from a friend non running...(MAS UNPLUGGED) but he replaced some parts in the prosess. The major thing i am concerned about is the TPS he replaced..the sensor was put on the car and never set correctly...

ThE PROBLEM.... The car is extemely hard to start and it will idle once warmed up a little..but when driving the car if i accelerate quickly and push in the clutch the car will stall or if i just rev the motor and let off the gas it will stall also...

GOOD SPARK just replaced the power transistor and coil packs.
Also just replaced the coolant temp sensor!

ANY HELP???????

AlSO i broke a crank pulley(bolts broke or came loose and threw the accessory belt. The problem here is that ever since the pulley broke and threw the belt the car has been considerably louder and low on power!

ANY HELP WITH EITHER OF THESE PROBLEMS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Adjust the TPS and check your idle and base timing. Check for boost leaks, and then check your ecu to make sure the caps aren't looking. The process for each of these things should be easy to find through the search function.

Your comment about the pulley worries me. What belt did it throw? Is there any damage to the front or top timing cover? You might want to pull the top timing cover to inspect the timing belt (then replace the cover!!!). Check to make sure none of the accessory belts or pulley wheels are rubbing the timing cover.

Also, read all the info at these sites. They have some great info that might help:

wow, it sounds like you have quite a few issues going on with your car. First off you should try and set the TPS correctly because that will most diffinantly affect the way the car runs.
The ECU wants to see 0.63v from the TPS sensor when your foot is off the throttle and greater than, say, 4.6v when you're fully on it.
You can check the voltage with a multimeter and simply turn the TPS one way or the other till the values are within spec. This should improve the way the car is running. Which parts exactly were you refering to in your post when you said "he replaced some parts in the prosess"? Do you have the Blow Off Valve recirculated properly?? Because this is a very common cause of the car dying when you let off the gas after reving it up. Hope this is helpful. let me know what you find.

This is the site where i got the quote from:
2g TPS adjustment? - DSMtalk Forums

This thread has the resistance values for the TPS rather than the Voltage:

Ok thanks for the help...i'll be sure to check the timing ecu and set the tps as soon as it warms up a little(not a fan of the snow)...

The pulley kind of just came loose and threw the alternator belt... It didn't appear to casue any damage other than the pulley and the belt...Just kind of worried me when the car made a noticable difference in sound....

The previous owner just changed the TPS and coil packs...(fixed the plug wires he was off 2) other than that the car is pretty much stock...dejon tool intake and exhaust are the only mods...BOV is still recirc into the intake...

Other than the pully game my 90 Laser did the same thing. Pull and check the ECU odds are it has not been gone through. If thats the case plan on shipping it out and get it repaired.

heck your ignition timing make sure its at 5 degrees. Then find someone with the same model try their ecu. If its not those then you might have a bent valve from the timing belt slipping. That makes alot of noise.
