MAF plug

I'm troubleshooting CELs that point towards the MAF. My Haynes book has different diagrams for the MAF plug though. Page 6-16 4-40a shows #1 pin to be the top left. Page 6-17 4.52 shows #1 pin to be top right.

Which one is correct.

Also, which pin is the ground pin. It says for me to probe terminal 4 with the key on but not where to put the ground pin.
