I just got a 92 GSX and it needed new front wheel bearings and drivers side front axle while replacing these i replaced the tie rod ends and lower ball joints also because they were a little worn out. I know i need an allignment because of the tie rod ends but i wanted to know if the lower control arm bushings being worn would affect the allignment and if i should replace them before i have it alligned. I would also like too know how hard the bushings are to replace because i will be replacing them no matter what i would just like to wait till it is warm outside.

Yes it will afftect the alighnment. Just hope your contol arms are not rusted out under the bushings like mine are and need to replace the whole arm.

This is almost a forgone conclusion for anyone in the salt belt just like the fuel pump assemblies rusting. The rear shafts on the lower control arms rust and crumble inside the bushing. The guy that wrote the VFAQ noted the problem but didn't realize that it would cause the control arm to move around more under load since it now slops around inside the new bushing.
