i'm just curious how many dsm'ers here are from Louisiana just wondering if any of you guys are near southwest louisiana... around the fort polk area/deridder/lake charles or even alexandria...

I've been here for a year. I'll be driving through De Ridder tomorrow(sunday) to go to the AutoX event at Lake Charles. Make sure to use copper spray.

That was my wife. There will be a autoX event this sunday(26 Jun) at Lake Charles. I usually head out around 0730 - 0800 if you're interested.

If any of you go I will be in 99 Miata with stock black painted wheels. Hope to see you guys there, also if anyone needs more information I can put up the flyer that I got in an email.

Too far for me to go. At least four hours away. There will be an event in Lake Charles on the 14 of August.

All the info is at www.sowela-scca.org under 2005 Schedule. You do not have to pre-register for the event. Only cost $10 for a novice and all others pay a whoppin $15. There is also a TLAC event in Lafayette the 24 of July. That one is around three hours away from me. I might go to that one.

What year, color and model do you have cause I have probably seen it. If you ever head down toward UL I now drive a black 99' Miata. I used to have a (running) white eclipse but it was causing me problems so I paid it off and am now using it for a project car. I deliver pizza for Papa John's.
