logs made today need advice!

Last night I set my base timing as close to 5btdc as I could get it so today I had the chance to go make some pulls and to adjust my wot a/f ratios. I got my a/f ratios as close to 11.0 across the board from 3k till about 7200. I also made a few logs with my logger and I have alot of knock. I am currently at 15psi and it slowly goes down as I get up in the rpm range. All of my mods should be listed in my profile but to make it easier I have the 255wally, afpr, 550's, safc-II, fmic, and I think that is it.

What seems odd to me is that right around time=05.42 the injector pulsewidth starts oscillating. It gets really bad at time=06.38 where it drops 1ms. Notice how the knock increases right at that point also. Is your boost steady during this time or does it oscillate also? If boost is steady and all the other sensors aren't changing during these oscillations (intake temp and baro), I'd check the frequency output of the mas.

I'm assuming you have a 1g mas from your profile. With a stock turbo I'd be surprised that you're overrunning the mas, but anything is possible. When I had problems overrunning the mas, I saw large dips in inj pulsewidth, but maybe you're right on the edge.

What are you using to determine a/f ratio by the way? Also, are you only using the SAFC for fuel control?

I am still on stock 1g mas and intake. I am using a lm-1 for my a/f ratios and all my fuel controll is with a safc. I have been doing boost leak tests tonight and I did find a few. In the process I managed to find out that my boost leak tester had a small leak in it and I am going to have to hit home depot tomorrow to fix that.

when making that log I did not noice any changes in boost other than it slowley loosing a little boost up high which if I am correct is normal.

Thanks and I will see what happens tomorrow once I make sure all boost leaks are taken care of. Last thing is it possible to take care of all boost leaks? I have one real small leak right where the j pipe connects to the turbo.

I've had really good luck with using high temp rtv instead of a gasket for the turbo outlet to j-pipe connection. As long as the j-pipe flange is true it should work well.
