Absolutely not, the exhaust has a very nice deep throaty sound. I only had it cat back so it wasn't loud at normal speeds but at wot the exhaust sounded mean! I liked the pitch and tone a lot that's why I got it. Best way u can hear it is on utube and even those don't sound like it because it's a very nice deep sporty sound and the cameras mics can't really pick up the sound right.
