Matt and I got together this past Friday and were discussing several ideas for the upcoming season. One idea was to head out to Gingerman Raceway. Would anyone have an interests in this? Ideas like this will be discussed hopefully at the meet this month. If you have any info or ideas feel free to speak up! (car shows, road trips, etc.)

Gingerman is a sweet trac and I'll be takin my car out on it this spring/summer. My boss races his porsche there and I know the guys who run the Porsche club there so netime u guys wanna go its an awsome trac. Gratten (however u spell it) is also an awsome track.. even if u just go and watch.. but yaaaa

If we have a meet at Gingerman I'm game for it and to run my DSM's there. I have some good friends of that race there Vipers there and they say its a great time, so I need to get over there. Let me know when some ones heading out there and I'll meet them

OK here is the scoop...

The meet is planned for this Wednesday night, around 7pm @ BW3's over on stadium drive. For those coming grom GR, its literally like 1 mile or less right off of 131. Great wings, great food, should be a really good time.

Matt and I would like to get an idea for who's going. Please just post a reply saying whether you're in or not. I know for a fact that we both will be there. The plan is to do this again in a few weeks to get something going around here. That way when it gets warm everyone knows eachother and we kinda have like a chill spot and monthly/bi weekly/ whatever meet schedule whenever/wherever is eventually decided. These meets "should" hypothetically lead to events at Gingerman, Martin, cruizes, South Haven, etc.

Call/Email/PM/IM Matt or I if you need directions. Both of our contact info can be found in the first and second post of this thread.

Yea, lets get a final list of who's going tomorrow night. I will be there for sure.

I think its a good idea to start something goin every month or every other week. That way we can all lend a hand if anyone has any big projects goin down or something.

Also, I was lookin into stuff for Gingerman and they have open track nights every Tuesday to Thursday from 5:30 to dark for $60.

For future events, here is a link to Martin Dragway's event calender. We can do Test & Tune for like 10-15 bucks for unlimited runs.

I don't think I know any of you here but I would be up for a meet the next time. This week doesn't work for me. It would be cool to hang out with a bunch of people with the same interest in DSMs.

Although, my Talon isn't coming out of the garage until spring.

One of the big ideas that is going to be discussed is the idea of a South West Michigan Club DSM chapter/group/car club. TJ/wishihadatalon approached Matt and I with the idea and he has already done some sweet research/graphics/web stuff. As the founder of the concept, I'll leave it to him to elaborate more tomorrow night at the meet and within this thread.

When I first read your post I thought it was a crack at my age and that maybe you really did know me somehow... . I am probably a bit older than most of you in this thread (I graduated high school in 1991, if that gives you any idea).

Well, there you have it. My car's not purple. It is sort of a dark red (Wildberry is the REAL name). No offense taken, though.
