the prothane mounts on dsmparts.com are 74 or so bucks is the site goo or crappy product anybody know ?? thanx

DSMParts are good. Only complaint is that I bought a PCV valve from them and received a huge oil filter instead. Some emails and 1 month later I finally received the correct part. Lesson learned = could have bought it at Autozone.

Prothane motor mounts are a good part to invest in. A lot of members have them. They're just a bit of a pain to install but well worth it when they're finished. I usually order parts from extremepsi, they seem to have the most competitive prices plus they're close to me so shipping is always quick.

awesome thanx guys and how much of a pain are they. i have never done motor mounts before surprisingly.

I remember seeing a write up on it awhile ago, but I can't find it. Jack up the engine by one of the motor mounts, take out the motor mount. Then you have to get the old rubber mount out, which is a pain. I've read of different methods including drilling holes in the mount then sawing it out using a hacksaw or a reciprocating saw. Or using a torch or something to heat up the rubber around the edges then you should be able to push the mount out. Then you put in the new mount, you can use a little lube to make it easier, then install the mounts back in and you're finished. I guess it's more time consuming then a real pain.
