I installed my Dropzone Coilovers and am having problems. First, I set the coilovers at 0" lower and it still lowered my car by about 2 inches. Not only this, but the springs are compressed nearly all the way together on the coilovers. 2 more inches of compression would have made the top of my spring touch the bottom of my spring.

Secondly, before the car was let down there was a gap in the top of my strut and the top of my spring. This gap would only close together once the car weight was compressing the strut in enough for the car to meet the spring. I REALLY need some help on this one please.

Yea, I might if I can't figure out these coilovers..... chances are I'll be selling these and buying the Tein S. Tech though. :(

The first issue I can't help you with, as I have no idea what the rates are for Dropzones (although you can be sure that they're too low), but the second problem is caused by running springs that are too short. What was the free-standing length of the springs? 2Gs like 8" in the front and 7" or 8" in the rear. It's an annoyingly frequent problem that vendors send us springs that are too short. This is likely caused by Ground Control defaulting to 7" springs and others copying them. Think of it as "lemmings for your lemon" and you're on the right track.

This is actually quite typical for linear springs, although it's rare for the gap in the front on a 2G to be very large. The solution is to add helper springs. Again, these are usually only needed in the rear.

ps. I'm sorry to say this, but the correct "Dropzone" for what you have bought has another name: "garbage can"

Just purchased a set of Tein S-Tech springs. I've read a few good things about them and nothing bad, yet.... Hope to have luck.
