Ignitors for coils?

I am wondering where the ignitors for the coil packs are.

Is it in the power tansistor, ECU or on the coils? Can anyone answer my question?

Ok, the power transistor under the coil pack is the ingnitor.

Now does anyone know if the ignitor is fired by a negative or positive pulse?

The coils are a negative pulse which is sent from the ignitor. But what type of signal is sent from the ECU to the ignitor to tell it to tell the coils when to fire?

There are coil drivers in the power transistor, which fires the coil. There are drivers in the ECU to power the transistor. Not sure about the wiring as mine is a 2g but if you can determine which wires in that transistor clip are the drivers, you should check them with a test light connected to bat. positive. Key off the light will be on, as you crank you should get a flash. Do this on both driver wires.
