Edmonton,
Hey guys. I just noticed that occasionally when I let off the gas the car's RPM's drop to about 400 and the oil light comes on for a split second, then everything goes back up to normal and the light flicks off... Any suggestions?

*EDIT* Sorry, I forgot to mention that this only happens when I clutch in and allow the RPM's to drop or pop it into neutral :)

That used to happen to me on my TSi. Except, sometimes it would go all the way down and stall. But, I got a 1g BOV on and that solved the problem. I see you already have one, though. On my GST, I had that problem, but worse, and it ended up being a bad idle/air-control motor.

Heres a question, when you say let off gas do you mean you let off gas in neutral or in gear?? Because after you let off the gas lets say 3rd gear after u have boosted till 3k, and put it in Neutral, if the RPM's drop to 400 or so it is usually because of a vaccum leak. Check for vaccum leaks or even your BOV to make sure you arent experiencing compressor surge or a faulty bov, or simply try adjusting it to see if that helps.

Edit: Sorry just read your edit :)
