Hi I want to install a single neo wedge led in my hvac controls on my 2g eclipse. What is the easiest way to do this.

I just did this on my car. I found it easiest to remove the center vents above the HVAC controls first. Be careful for the Cool-air bypass switch (lever just to the right of the vents). It's connected to the vents with a cable.

Basically, pulled the trim piece around the vents (with the defogger, rear wiper, etc. switches) first, then detach the cable from the switch. Then, pop the AC button out (be sure to unplig it first), then the light is directly below that. There's a wire pigtail running into it. Unplug the pigtail, then use pliers to undo to bulb socket (it's a twist-lock, and it will rotate clockwise).

Getting the bulbs out of the sockets is a huge pain. Leave the little orange condom thing on, since it will give you more grip.

All right! Thankyou I will do this as soon as my led comes in the mail.

Actually isn't it a single light?

Yes, but it's a PITA to get to.

When I said "getting the bulbs out of their sockets", what I meant was that all the #74s are a pain. They're really tight, and sometimes, it feels like pulling it out is going to break the bulb in your hands. There's obviously only one in the HVAC, but it's still a #74.

Also, keep in mind that the orange color on the HVAC controls isn't applied to the faces, but to the bulb. So if you get a white bulb, you'll have white faces.
