91 octan witch is the best i can get around here, they are ngk's only 2k miles on them but think they are failing again. i am working on getting a WB O2 but low on founds you know how that can be.
the sensor is nice and snug, i checked that. she runs like no other untill 5k tho?
should i set my logger up different?

the second post is be cause the other was not working right, it wouldn't respond to anything i do, or posted, so try not to be a moderator:)

thx for the responses guy's!!

It's not a civic, doesn't need to be revved past 6k anyways, much past 5.5k is a waste on stock cams/turbo anyways.

As for the log:

Stop logging your fuel trims, they are useless at WOT and don't change much at cruise anyways. Instead log your MAF frequency, note that the more sensors you monitor the less refresh rate you get on your data. Also something a bit weird, in open loop your o2 correction (FT02) should read 100%, not sure why it's 99.8...

5500 rpm? What is it a diesel truck? Give me a break you have no idea what you're talking about.

OK i do another log for you guy's today, here in abit. less sensors and different sensors.
thx for all the replies.

ok so here is a new pull, turns out that my MBC was a half a turn up. still don't know why that would make a difference but... here is a new log with it turned all the way down.
thx guy's

also i wanted to make sure something is right, i was watching the log under MAP and it was up as high as 28.5 psi! so then i checked the MBC and thats when i found out it was a half a turn up, so i turned it down and it then read 24.3psi. is this right?

i also put in a new set of BPR6ES plungs, didn't make a difference before the last pull, and timming seems to be dead on.

Much better! You never answered if you have a boost gauge or not. If you do you can start slowly turning the boost back up. I wouldnt go over 14lbs of boost with out the fuel pump at least being rewired. Run your logger while turning the boost up looking for knock (you know turn up mbc a little bit go make a pull until desired boost is reached). A properly logged run is from 2000rpm to redline in a single gear preferably 3rd. The reason the boost controller being turned up half way made a differance is because you were running to much boost for your fuel delivery causeing you to run lean.

she runs so much better now that the MBC is down just that half a turn it was up. i don't have a boost gauge in yet but coming soon. i have a Turbo XS MBC but i thing it may be bad because of the MAP reading on the logger?
also under MAP in the logger is say's at idle i have -8.5psi but under full boost it say's 24.3psi, is that right??

thx for all the replies, keep them comin:)

:notgood:
You must be crazy. I could only imagine what you would rev to on a 2.4 block

After quite a bit of searching for a valid Dyno graph on a stock eclipse I cam across this..

As you can see it holds power until 6500 on a stock eclipse, BUT more importantly STOCK CAMS, STOCK TURBO!

LOL thx for for some back up, nice to see people pushing out the ones that have NO IDEA what they are talking about, these are 4g63T, not a 440 or 454 :)

Np, I should put his post under the Dumbest things You ever heard a DSM'er say Forum.. LOLooo

I was about to say, 6.5k is where I try to shift. I noticed the power really dropped off after 6.5k when I was aside a cobra:coy:.
I love those honda's that bounce the rev limiter to shift.ROFL :beatentodeath:

OP, your second log looks muuuuch better.
Just to clarify: Your knock sensor doesn't have any black drippy goo?
Keep the boost down until you get an accurate boost gauge and re-wire your fuel pump at least!

A boost leak test is still one of the best maintenance and performance things you can do. This will make the single biggest difference.

Good! your running standard NGKs, I'm glad you researched unlike most people.
Remember to gap them at .028" and the " ramp-disc" gappers they sell at autozone suck!

You seem to be off on a good start here being that you actually bought a datalogger first. Just keep in mind that researching your parts and setting a goal will save you a ton of money buying the right stuff the first time.

thx for the responses guy's!!
I tried flagging that post, It wouldn't let me do anything in there! It just had a random poll. WTF!!

Almost forgot your MAP or Baro reading is normal. Atmospheric pressure is 14.7 + stock boost 9-10 psi, your in the right range.

awsome thx for the info! :)

as for the plugs i always forget witch ones LOL, i'll stand at the sales counter looking it up here on my phone. LOL

now i did have the MBC turned about 2.5 turns up for about 2 months and it ran great. it just started the missfire at 5k any idea's what may have been causing this, maybe a future problem tthat i don't know about yet?

still learning the logger but it is nice to have the data on it:)

thx for the replies guy's!!!
