Can anyone tell me how to install the oil jets in the block.... Theres a pic of how to in a post somewhere on here but I can't find it now. I used a punch to get them in, but how do I know how far to hit them? Make them flush with the galley?

Ive worked with my 1G block and if the oil jets are the same you don't need to be pounding anything into the block or using a center punch on the oil jets.

I could be wrong but my instincts tell me you need to stop and do some serious research before doing anymore work to the oil jets.

umm yeah if you have a 6bolt 4g63t you should NOT be hammering oil jets in. The blocks equipped with stock oil jets bolt right in, it is much easier to do it with the crank removed. I have never attempted to install on a car that didn't come with oil jets from the factory so that may be a different story.
