How can I get a comfortable ride?

Alright, I have KYB AGX's on their lowest setting with Eibach Pro-Kit springs and 17'' wheels and I HATE the way it rides. Even the tiniest bumps are irritating and the occasional dip in the road during spirited driving sends the car slamming into the bumpstops and me into the roof. I am highly considering buying some stock shocks and putting the pro kit's on them, but I still want it to handle well. I'll take comfort over handling at this point though as it is my DD and I don't do any road racing/auto-x. What shock/spring combo will allow me to have a decent ride, without going back to the terrible handling it had stock?

Why don't you try running your agx's with stock springs,I use to run sportlines on my agx's but they were way to stiff for my taste,and now I'm running stock springs on agx's and the ride quality is great. Here is a thread about agx/stock spring combo

I might try that, but I think it's the agx's that are too stiff not the springs. And I like the 1'' drop. Maybe GR2's would ride better?

My H&R/Koni combination is the best riding setup I've had. I've run GC/Illumina's and Eibach/AGX in the past.

Are your bumpstops cut down or are they the factory height? Also I'm running a Prokit and GR2's on my car and its rather comfortable. I've replaced all my bushings with poly which definatly help stiffen it up but the car rides like a dream imo. I've had a few DSM friends in my car and they enjoyed the ride. I do have on 215/55/16 tires which helps. Come summer I'll be going with 235/45/17s.
Every car I've been in with AGX's has felt like a po-go stick.
