Honda Tranny ?? (not my question)

i my self despise honda's but my sponsor is building a CRX, and he has a B18B1 that he is putting in it. Will the stock CRX tranny bolt up to the B18, or will he need to purchase a b18 specfic tranny? or are they swapable (i don't know if thats a word? )

hey wants to run low 6's or high 5's in the 1/8, he is looking at some for some turbo kits, or some examples of nitrous set ups that would help too if anyone knows of any.

I still have all my love for crxs. But no the tranny will not bolt up to it. The ls tranny is a good one if he plans on going with a turbo it has a long gear ratio and you can pick one up fairly cheap. If he wants a closer gear ratio the b16 tranny is one for that but would be better for all motor applications. A gsr tranny is a good all around tranny as well. The drag turbo kits are nice as well as the greddy kits. Good luck with the project.

LoL, honda trannys are 100 times better than a DSM tranny. I'm on my 2nd tranny rebuild so my DSM is out the door the day its fixed for a GSR

i used to have a fast honda. I ran 12.8's in my crx. Never had a transmission problem. But damn, it cost a lot of money to get that car to go that fast. Then one day i was driving around and a truck hit my car and i went flying like 600 feet or so. Little econobox never stood a chance. Then i bought a dsm and after like 800 bucks or so, i ran 12.8's on a stock turbo..................hmmmmm. I dont like Honduh's anymore.
