I need some other perspective on this...

97 GS-T 6-bolt swap. Everything Brand New internal

272s 1g TB w/ 2g sensors, 1g manifold. no leaks

My car idles differently almost everytime i turn it on. There's times it will idle high at start then lower. And times it will idle low at start and then get higher warming up. more often the second. today its idling at 2000rpm. yesterday at 2400. A few days ago it idled 800rpm all day. then just before i got home decided to come up to 1800. There was a day it wouldn't stay running on its own, but after a few minutes was ok. Temp outside has been decent, but the car reacts differently when the temp hasn't changed at all.

I pulled the ISC, did a full check. I also took the isc apart and manually screwed the step motor with the car running. the lowest i could get RPMs was 1900 or so.

I don't have any boost leaks. went over that plenty of times. No check engine codes. No Idle Surge. The idle is really shaky though. fluxuates about 200 rpms no matter where it is.

My TPS sensor is at like 2%(logger) .74v I can't get it any lower than that. I know the butterfly isn't open though because the car runs low idle sometimes aswell. And i unplugged the TPS to see and the car didn't react any differently. I was hoping the 2% signal dropping to 0% would trigger the car to fix itself. not so much.

The biss is like a half turn out from closed. doesn't leak at all. i cant lower RPMS with it anymore. I can raise the hell out of them though.

Theres nothing wrong with the EGR either. That i've noticed anyway. but i've gone over it.

I've been reading about the FIAV and the block off kits. But I've also seen people still having high idle after that. I'm thinking thats my problem and i'm gonna block it next. I don't have the coolant lines going to the throttle body. I took those off while the 7-bolt was still in.

I've gone through the forums and others, but can't figure whats going on here. My motor has 130 miles on it and I can't handle it running at 2000-2500rpms when it feels like it just sitting still.

BTW this has made the base timing a little hard to get. But I was able to do it while the car was idling normal one day. And it runs perfectly fine driving.

I can't think of any other info right now... What do you guys think?

You still have you FIAV but don't have any coolant running through them? If so, that is your problem.
The wax pellet in there never gets hot enough to melt so it keeps it at cold idle.

why though does it act differently every time I start the car? I was thinking about that. But I haven't had those lines on in a long time. I was just thinking the 1g throttle body i picked up has a bad FIAV in it. I dunno if thats really possible

I have a similar problem, I have tried everything! BISS all the way in, Even rebuilt the tb!! 0 Boost leaks, idle sw/tps adjustments OK throttle all the way closed. ISC Working, EGR Blocked off----BUT the coolant lines are blocked off!! I bet this is my problem.
