I just got done rebuilding/upgrading alot of motor parts on my 2g . I just installed a 1g turbo head on the 2g block....well i just started the motor....it leaks oil out of the corner between the head and block besides the gears...I torqued just a hair more to see if it would help....didnt....i untorqued and retorqued ....still leaking ....so i figured i might as well just pull the head which im gonna do tom. I just need some suggestions on if i should put a hks or differnet head gasket on it or what...i have a brand new stock with arp head studs and it leaks now.....the stock gasket might be in good shape stilll....i reallly dont wanna pull the head and redo the timing and stuff ....any one have any suggestions for me.....

thanks

I am also about to put an engine together. I did lots of reading and apparently, the stock head gasket is the easiest to get to seal so if that is leaking, you may not be torquing the studs right. Try folowing the recommended sequence and maybe use copper spray on both sides of the gasket.

good luck
