So this is what happens. I try to accelerate the car but it just picks up speed very slowly and if I press the gas pedal all the way my RPM's will rise but my car wont accelerate that much. Also my gauge is reading 12 PSI which is normal but also you can hear my turbo spool really loud, louder than what it would do before. Does this mean my turbo is bad? (stock T-25 with 150K) PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Does the car drive normal other wise ? OR is it all stumbly and unstable...stalling and such.

Im willing to bet you either blew the T-25 or you have one Hell of a boost leak.

Check to see if there is any couplers blown off of yout intercooler piping. Goodluck.

Boostleak test it, and also when the car is cool take of the intake pipe and check the turbo for shaftplay

The sound might be a boost leak. The slow pick up might be a slipping clutch. Check your couplers, on my car the one on the turbo was ripped.

I dont smell anything:confused: But I do know that it spools way to loud. Even though it sounds cool I know something is wrong. I checked my couplers on my SMIC and they were cracked but not to the point were I think air would come out of it. And also my turbo has a little bit of shaftplay. Could that be it? Another thing I'am venting to the atmoshere without a MAF ( i know thats bad) But could that also be a factor or maybe cause my T-25 has 150K's on it? thanks for any responses :thumb:

Fix the couplers....recirculate the BOV and boost leak test it.....then if it still does it suspect the turbo. DO it in that order. goodLuck

Also shaft play is up and down and In and out. check the in/out play also. but do the other stuff first.
