stock gst's are nothing, seriously. if u can drive good u might even keep up w one with a few boltons to ur n/a.. all i have is headers and intake and on the motor a gst will not walk away (didnt say i would beat it).. on nitrous thats a different story.. i rather save the spray for a big boy or a modded dsm..

have you had the car on a dyno since you got the turbo on? ive been thinking very seriously about getting turbo on mine, but after seeing those pics i think it would really be in my best interest to find someone that knows what the hell they are doing. thats beyond my knowledge of mechanics

no i haven't had it on a dyno. its only a week and a half old.. the hardest part of the hahn kit is the fuel system. that tooks us awhile to figure out. everything else was almost self explanatory.

i would love to have my car turbocharged. ive got nitrous, but its not hooked up yet. im waiting till i can get my purge kit and bottle warmer. i thought that would be enough for now, but after seeing that kit installed on a car like mine i almost pissed my pants. i'll have to do some research and see what i could get everything for. im sure its more than what i have to spend

Hey Biznatch Your the only show and go? Some of us started on our engine bays first . Little less show but a lot more go Rickys car is pretty damn nice so when he dresses it up a bit you wont be the only show and go. Just wait till I get the body painted this spring(if I dont do more to the engine).

BTW about the HAHN. Nice setup but be prepared for a car that sounds like a washing machine with a BOV. That fuel pump is hella loud!!

I have to drop my .02, ok, I see all this turbo gs is faster than a gs-t talk...well, I have a 95 awd tsi with a 14b....I know for a fact that I would beat you....but anyway...your car is f**king bad dude!!! I admit that the hahn kit looks sweet as hell, but the 420a is nothing compared to the strong 4g63. Welcome to the world of boost....as for the boost controller, trust me when I say that you will like the TurboXS DSBC, I have it and its great. If apexi says that the avc-r won't work then it won't work...how much would u sell it for??? Remember that trade we talked about, how about it that for ur avc-r:laugh: Anyway...I love your car man, welcome to boost and lag but its worth it:laugh: Now go kick some mustang ass!

Actually thats where your wrong. There are lots of stock cars that have won shows. Lets take Richs RS for instance, he beat Pats GSX at show and rich had very few "mods" done to the car. It was the fact that the car was clean and presented well. The baddest show and go car in SO IL is Pat Trustys for now. Richard B gave a whole lecture at Monster Mopar about how to present your car for show. he also said that people have won with very low points just because they brought in a nice clean car.

Dude I seriously hope you dont think your running mid 14s. Zach was running low 15s when he had the good turbo on the AWD and you barely beat him. Don't start buying condoms until you have actually measured your unit. You might end up with a lot of slack. Besides rims and coilover does not make up extremely modded show car. Might want to look at the SEMA web page for that one.


In case your wondering how I know zachs time even though he only ran the 1/8th look at the times on avg. 9.9 in the 1/8th translates to 15s on a AWD.

Show and mostly go?? Just about 2 months ago you were like, Im a show car and the only racing that matters is autocross......Now you have a 15 second car and your like "mostly go"? i never said anything about racing rich's car. i was actually stating that im sure rich beat that gsx because he had more done to his car to look more show.

i never said anything about how fast the car runs either.

awhile ago i was like all show no go.. but now that i have go, i want more, and i want show.
