Grey 2g's with Black or Graphite Wheels, Pics?

I'm looking at getting new rims & I'm trying to figure out if I want to go with a graphite/gun metal or black with a polished lip. I currently have a silver center with polished lip but its time for a change & I don't really like how the lip doesn't stand out to well as the colours look fairly similar. I'm making my way through the gallery but those rims (or any rims) on the grey 2g's are very limited. If you have some pics let me see them.

EDIT x2: Sorry Daren, I completely gazed over the part of your question that said "Grey 2Gs". I've been online too long today, and my eyesight is suffering as we speak.

In my honest opinion, I don't think black rims w/a polished lip look good on anything but a pure black car or a white talon w/a black top and dark tint.

The gun metal color will compliment your car ride anyways, just go with that

Ya I've seen the picks of Paul S's car before, sometimes we all read things a little to fast , thanks for the link though, I'll have a better look when I get a chance.

As for the black rims, I was never a fan of them but when I started checking around I kinda like them now & I've always liked they way they looked on Paul S's car. I was playing around on tire rack & I think I'm leaning more towards the black now, personally I like they way it looks on the grey. Just wanted to get some more "real" photo's before I make up my mind. Everybody has their own opinion, personally I don't like the back, front, side moldings or spoiler on the talon's but there are a tonn who don't think the same, to each their own

i have an mgp eclipse with powdered rims....i will post pictures of my car when i get home...somehow when dsmtuners upgraded to a diff server, i lost all my images...i was the only mgp eclipse in the gallery on like the last 8 pages or so before they updated...

i had the rims powder coated midnight black....came out pretty much gunmetal...i did not clear them...wish i had, but hope you get the idea.

Well looks like Im going to go gun metal. I was going to go with black but the place Im ordering from said they hadn't seen black in awhile. Here's a pic of what Im going with, the lip won't be quite that big as thats a pic of a rim that would go on a rwd. They are a dark gun metal so I think they'll look good.

they look pretty good man...it's cool that the gun metal looks like our paint jobs at night...i didn't intend for my wheels to match but they pretty much do...

it looks as if your a big fan of the double spoked wheel concept?

Actually I was origionally going to go with the ADR Spade wheels which is a knock off Volk wheel & its a sold 5 star but then I saw these & they looked like the PIAA wheels that I have always liked (actually I think I like these even better) but wasn't willing to pay the price they want for them as I change my mind to often

So I guess ya, I am a big fan of the split spokes
