I've searched, but couldnt find an answer. I also have the manual so dont point me to the .pdf file. Anyways, everything is hooked up right, back of unit is setup for internal (stock t25), the problem is, I dont have any boost control. The low and hi settings are set at min, balance at 12 o clock, and whenever I go wot, the boost shoots up past 20psi. Shouldnt it only be boosting at stock? Any ideas on how to resolve this?

btw, this question has been asked before in the past, i came across a few of these threads while searching, but not one single reply.

I would say get a vacume pump, or a air nozzle hooked up to an air compressor and pull the nipple off the wastegate acuator and put some presure on it and see if it is working.

If not, then you need to see if it is the flapper that is seized or if the acuator is stuck.

thats what my brother told me to do to, i'll probably do that this weekend and see it's the actuator or not. anybody else?

Just run a vacuum source straight to the wastegate, that should give you 10psi if the wastegate is working. If it does then either the profec is broken or you have it setup wrong.

thanks.

Ok, well I checked it out this weekend and the wastegate is good. My brother and I went over the whole install again, and I guess I goofed on the install. :D Anyways for future reference, the reason why I had no boost control was because IN was suppose to be hooked up to the intercooler pipe, I had it hooked up to the injen intakeROFL , and the black box was not suppose to be mounted horizontally, the box was suppose to be mounted vertically. I didnt want to tap into my intercooler pipe so what I did was, I used a T fitting and spliced the hose that goes from my intake manifold to the greddy type s bov. After the install, me and my brother went out for a test drive, and in a 3rd gear pull, it held a solid boost at 10psi, no boost creep, no spiking. Balance was centered at 12 o'clock, low boost and hi boost was set at min. In the end, it was great to have it finally working right.
