Got some Noob questions from a TruNoob!

My girlfriend is on here and I have been wanting to help her mod her car. Mines is pretty much modded to were the only mod I can do is a supercharger or turbo . But anyways... She has a Eclipse GS N/A. Her gasmilage is about 200 miles on a full tank with slow driving. Has new plugs and wires. Have run injector cleaner and even ran 89. Still nothing, there is no check engine light on. Could a simple o2 sensor cause this problem? or is there somthing else I can look into. She just had the A/C redone when the headgasket blew on her last year.
So basically the question is.. Her MPG sucks, worse than my v8 . And I need to if a simple o2 can cause it and if there is a way to check it before spending the bucks on a new one.

2nd I would like to find out what polyurethane blitz kits are out there. I have delt with fiberglass kits on my car but when I got a polyurethane kit I was sooo much happier. I am not looking to spend $1000 into a kit but maybe around 400-500? Maybe ill add the Z3 fenders too but who knows. If anyone has a used kit there sellin or knows of a website that I could get a kit cheap could you please let me know. Thanks everyone for your time and dealing with a TruNoob! Thanks!

You could try a new fuel filter along with a new O2 sensor, and a compression test.

yes, the o2 sensor can cause bad gas mileage. click the link below to find out why. according to the rules of this site, you should have already read that before you posted.

Do you want to modify your girlfriends car? Or are you just complaing about poor gas mileage? And bragging about an unknown supercharged car at the same time?

Hey fuel filter was just replaced also but still at the same. I had the same problem then for no reason it just picked up. Yea I want to modify it, id rather do her car then mine. I found this site VIA a local group running mainly 11s so I gave them the respect of coming on here. I figured id be bashed right away but I cant stand searching thru 500+ pages of crap. But either way thank you. Do guys have a place where you normally buy 02 sensors? Thanks!

If you're serious about modding the car and you have to replace the O2 sensor anyway, get a wideband O2.. www.extremepsi.com AEM UEGO is just under $400 there.

C'mon guys, do you really think he needs a wideband O2 sensor for an NA car?

it's a GS, definitly do not need a wideband. Just pick up the 50 dollar o2 sensor from any autoparts store and cut and splice the wires, easy as that.
