I'm leaving up Saturday morning with my girl because she wants to go to the zoo. But I'll get to wash my car Saturday night, hopefully it doesn't rain. I'm staying at the 8th ave Inn, she said it was only like 8 miles away from the park.

I think that's right behind the Hurricane right off Denny Way, right? Fast/easy way to get to the meet if you're not familiar with the area is hop on Denny Westbound and follow it past the Seattle Center. Denny turns in to Western Ave then Elliot Ave then 15 Ave NW if you just follow the road. Cross the Ballard bridge and make a left at the Safeway at Market St. Follow Market through a couple bends and it will take you all the way to Shilshole Bay Marina and Golden Gardens.
