Hello everyone. I have a 2.4L sohc turbocharged. 450cc injectors, walbro 190 (rewired) aeromotive fpr, afc2 and wideband.

i had my hi-throttle settings on my afc2 set to -10% across the board. at wot, my a/f would be about 14-15 OMG OMG OMG

so i gradually kept turning it up on the afc2. now i'm at +20% and the a/f is STILL at 14-15 during a wot pull.....something's wrong. as of right now, if i go half throttle i'm already at 8psi on the turbo but the a/f is about 11-12...give or take. if i slowly open the throttle all the way to wot, i just watch the a/f hit 15 again.

i know my afc is working because i can get instant results on teh wideband readout when i play around with the trims while i'm idling or cruising or w/e. but at wot i can't do anything.

what's going on here? the only idea i have is that the banjo fitting on my fuel filter is restricting too much. before i run out and get a straight fitting to replace it, anyone else have any ideas? thanks :dsm:

per manual specifications for my car, 38psi at idle, 48psi with ONLY fuel pump cycling (no vacuum)

what voltage are you reading from your tps at WOT?

what throttle range do you have for high throttle settings on the safc2?

i'm assuming 5v since the afc says it's 100% when i gun it. if it was anything different it wouldn't display 100%, right? due to the spooling characteristics of my turbo, i have the throttle points set at 15%/40%

with all the pretentious and arrogant people on this board....no one wants to offer ANY advice? still have this problem......

Try to correlate the boost curve with your A/F curve. Do you have a fuel pressure gauge inside the car that you can monitor? You've got a restriction. Maybe a dirty fuel filter, maybe the fitting you mentioned.

BTW, calling the people on the board pretentious and arrogant isn't a flag that says "Please help". Although I do understand your frustration.

Wow, bumping your own thread by insulting everyone on this board is not the way to get help. WTF I'm suprised this thread wasn't locked a long time ago.

Nope, your assumption is incorrect. The SAFC will read the highest voltage it "sees" and report that as 100%. So, in all actuallity, you could be at 60% and still see 100% on the SAFC.

You need to look at the TPS on a logger. :thumb:

Also, change your TPS trigger points to 30% and 80%.

sometimes a little provocation is the only way to get answers.

if you don't have a logger,
go to the sensor check mode where it lists the voltages from various inputs and see what it says for tps.
if its not at least 4.5v when the pedal is on the floor the ecu won't get wot.
also check to see what it is at clesed throttle, cause on the 4 wire tps's if the tps isn't set properly you won't trigger the idle switch, and it will cause a erratic idle.

i highly doubt i "insulted" everyone. you mean to tell me people read my comment and spent more than 5 seconds thinking about it....and then realized they were "insulted"? oh please....here's a tissue...

at wot, my tps sensor is reading 5v. voltmeter and afc2 sensor check approved
