i just finished hooking up the wet kit on the laser and before i took it out to test it i left the fuel line offf and nitrous line off to see if everything was working properly, well the nitrous side works like a champ, but the fuel side is not pumping fuel!! at idle im at 40psi fuel pressure and the cylanoid is clicking on but no fuel! i took it off opened it up blew air through it, that didnt work, then i pulled the fittings off and sprayed carb cleaner in the ports while it was open and still nothin!! i think i still have a piece of pipe tape stuck in there!! the guy i got it from wrapped the threads like 5 or 6 times with pipe tape and you know and i know that pipe tape and nitrous setups is a major nono!! is there something i can spray in there that will break up whatever is in there and not hurt anything?? thanks!!

oops forgot to add its a NOS brand powershot cylinoid

Chances are there is nothing wrong with your solenoids. The Fuel solenoid takes 5amps to open the Nitrous takes 15amps because it's so much heavier. So the problem your having is more likely that your power wire your using it too thin or that you are taking power from another source that can not draw enough amperage to open up the solenoid.

I would test the solenoid by making a new ground thats close and direct to the battery and the same with a power just to test it to a strong source. CHeck to see if the solenoid now clicks louder. Whats probablly happening is the solenoid just can't open fully because it's not receiving enough power. If it doesn't work by touching it off the battery then the solenoid is screwed up and you should send it back to NOS for a rebuild.

put a new solinoid on, touched the wires directly to the battery and still no fuel commin out!! GGRRR!!!! i have the T in the feed line between the firewall and the fpr, doesnt seem like theres alot comming out of the t, like its not gushing all over, i have the fuel pump rewired, maybe i should toss in the 255walboro i have :\ what am i missing here?? ive read and read and its hooked up correctly, is my t pro too big?? i had to make one out of a brass 3way block 2 barbed ends and a AN fitting,

You cant run it of the return. You have to run it from the the feed line in from the filter to the fuel rail.

WOW. Your running your nitrous kit from your return line. LOL. Thats REALLY BAD by the way. This almost became a nitrous blew up my car story, uhhh no the user blew up the car.

You need the nitrous system to get fuel pressure the same as the injectors do so that it's all consistant. The fuel pressure regulator is the LAST thing in the fuel system as it regulates the pressure of everything before it so all the way back to the pump. It lets an ammount of fuel past it depending on load of the engine to keep the fuel pressure at a particular number. By putting the T after the fuel pressure regulator your getting the waste fuel which could be at any pressure between about 20psi at idle and 5psi at WOT. The fuel pressure at WOT in the return line goes down bcause the car is using up more from the pump and less is being returned.

Hope that helps.

yep imm an idiot, after reading the posts i did have it hooked to the return line i hooked it to the other line and blam spittin fuel like a siv!! thanks guys!! (fyi this isnt my 1st nitrous set up but my 1st wet kit :) )

I'm glad you tested the system first before just trying it out. That was good thinking. A great lesson for others reading. Always test something first. Even if you don't know what your doing you may know when something isn't doing what it should just as 1fstSS has. He knew fuel should be coming out but nothing was so why? Instead of going out spraying and blowing up his car by spaying nitrous and no fuel on a wet kit...
