Yes sir Im still racing. When DSM bugs aren't getting the best of me!

Hi Danny,
Thanks for the update on your Chevelle project, it sounds nice! I was telling a guy at work about your car yesterday and he was getting all excited. 'Ooo, he's doin Corvette suspension? ' It's funny how your perspective changes when you move to a different platform. Making over 400hp on a 385 is 'nothing crazy'. :) In contrast, my Laser is making 285 FWHP and it's nearly uncontrollable. BTW it's still going strong on the stock engine that just rolled the odo past 300k miles. Stock paint, too. :(

My Talon is making big power again, over 600 on the FFtec Mustang dyno. It went 145mph with a soft launch back in January, so now I'm installing a full cage so the track ref doesn't hassle me as bad.

Dave u crazy f'er!!! good to hear project MPG is holding power at that mileage after all the lean burning and crazy driving techniques haha must be fun pedaling that red car around!!

Just talked to my engine builder... said id get ~450hp with the heads he was gonna put on, but if i get the AFR fully cnc'd heads the airflow is so much better ill for sure hit 500hp for a few hundo more so i was like yeahhhh lets go for those haha, rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it!

After a lot of clearancing problems and taking the motor apart and putting it back together (my engine builder is really specific on his tolerances) my buddies 420stroker *should* be hitting the dyno this saturday... Hoping for ~630 from that beast LOL, going in a light 68 nova, gonna be a fun ride

Ill update with some pics of the chevelle chassis when its done in about a month, and still keep in touch until then.

Dave, i know you were interested in the suspension setup for my chevelle, here are some pics of the progress of the frame...

Gonna leave a few things off while it goes to paint, overspray is a mofo!!!
Ridetech coilovers and full suspension
C6 Corvette front brakes, 2002 camaro rears (good parking break)
