front 2 wheels are hot

so after driving on the highway for 15 minutes my front 2 wheels/rims were hot to the touch but the back 2 were fine. since it is awd and all disc bbrakes doesn't that mean somethings sticking up front? let me know what could cause this, thanks.

I thought braking was mostly done by the front and the backs were just along for the ride

check the caliper hoses on the front and make sure that they didnt collapse that will cause the front calipers to hold pressure longer than the rear ones there for causing the front wheels to collect more heat than the rear ones....It's gotta be brake related anyhow.

Four wheel disk brakes with abs are different that having drum brakes on the rear....Im pretty sure our cars are like a 50f/50r or 60f/40r split at all times.

oh I didn't think so cause the bigger brakes are up front

I think the reason that brakes are made that way is because the weight of the car moves forward as you stop there for you need to have more contact surface on the front than the rear....it might even be like a 70/30 split

Thats normal. If you never used the brakes the wheel would not get hot.
