My first time out in the car at the track. Mods are following
Buschur Big 16g ported/clipped
2.5 " Turboback exhaust
1g Crushed BOV
Walboro 190
ACT 2100
Boost set at 16 psi stock intercooler.
R/t .2901
60ft 1.9168
330ft 5.9029
ET @ 594 8.5498
1/8 ET 9.1308
1/8th mph 77.45

That was my best pass. I have a problem with 2nd gear it grinds and it hard to get in everytime I redline so I know im lossing ET / MPH there. The compression isnt the greastest either 139-94-145-149. Not a bad time for first time out on 16 psi. What do you all think?

I think you might have a blown head gasket. Are you overheating??? Check your oil for coolant, and your coolant for oil. Those compression test #'s point towards a blown head gasket.

Also your 60ft is a little slow for AWD, but not too bad. You should look for 1.7's with good driving, but the lack of 60ft time may be from your motor not being at optimal performance levels. Check into it.

Nope not overheating and oil is not in the coolant or otherwise. Just a tired motor I think hah.

Last time out I went 9:21/79MPH, 1.81 60ft,
Stock Motor .20 over
Stock 14B
Fishtank boost controller set low because no boost guage.
2.5" exhaust
Centerforce clutch DF.

Now that I have a real MBC and real 15psi its MUCH quicker. Havent been back yet but I know it;ll run high 8s with a good 60ft.

Times are nice, but a 37% compression differential is not good. Get a leakdown test and see where you're loosing compression (rings, valves, HG) :dsm:

Found out the car has a blown head gasket. What should I do while I change this go ahead and re-ring the pistons since the car has 134k?

I wouldn't re-ring unless the rings were shown to be loosing compression. I've got 162 compression on my 1990 with the same milage on the original rings :D

I'd definitely invest in some ARP Head studs as can be torked down much more than the stock fasteners (~$99) with a new factory Mitsu composite headgasket :dsm:
