FIC 650 Injector Install Problem..

I just installed a set of FIC 650's and I have a problem where when I go WOT, the car buckles around 4.5K.. I believe I have adequate enough of fuel going to the injectors with a HP Walbro 190 (rewired). Do I need a FPR and a 255 fuel pump just to run these 650's? I have no boost leak what so ever.. Prior to installing 650, my car was running fine with the 550's, but when the moment I installed the 650's, I have the buckling at WOT around 4.5K.. Any inputs??

yah i did.. i went -31% across the board in "HI".. but i was reading other post about FIC injectors.. The seals on the injectors maybe be bad?? Maybe I should try to switch out the seals and use seals that I was using on my 550's...

FIC has different seals for their 650cc injectors. If yours are bad, order a set of Viton seals from them

If you said you boost leak tested and found nothing, then that should rule out the seals. How are your plugs and wires?

Do you have a logger?

What is the o2 sensor voltage?

What is the timing doing when it bucks?

I sounds like you are hitting a mini fuel cut. I have ran into this. I leaned out the car some more in the mid range and took care of the problem.

Just make sure you are watching your gauges and monitoring everything.

Agree'd, Also a 190 is plenty for 650's...

Yah.. I fixed the problem.. It was the FIC lower O-ring seals that were bad.. I put on some new, tougher, O-ring seals and everything runs better and stronger.. Thanks for all your help..
