In the past I used a ACT 3600lb pressure plate with a 6 puck disc, then I tried a Clutchmasters 3600lb pressure plate with a 4 puck sprung ceramic disc. I prefered the 4 puck set up. Now I'm thinking of trying an EXEDY stage 3 pressure plate with a 3 puck sprung ceremetallic disc. Does anyone have any experience with this combination? What is the difference the ceramic friction I've used in the past vs the ceremetallic of the EXEDY disc. FYI my car should be making around 375 AWHP. Thanks for any input.

Ive never even heard of a 3600lb pressure plate. However for that power level even an ACT2100 is a little over kill. Id recommend any one of these TMZ Performance . Just based on the couple reviews I just read of the Exedy "stage 3" kit, I wouldnt go with it. Ive personally bought one exedy kit and it failed on me in less than 500 miles. Never again.

Everyone seems to use ACT clutches, but for under 400 whp there should be a lot of options. I have had a 11 second supercharged mustang and a few 1g DSM's, both have had Centreforce dual friction clutches and even in my supra turbo. Not sure about your needs but I like a streetable clutch that is drivable in all conditions. My friend has a 1990 gtr and I can't drive it because of the lack of a friction point, but he has 900 whp. That is not fun to drive. Don't make the mistake of upgrading to a crazy clutch and lose the fun factor that race clutches bring to the party. As soon as it becomes a trailer queen the fun is gone. I love that DSM's are nice to drive everyday that's why I have it. I live in Toronto Canada and have all four seasons. Let us know what clutch you pick and how you like it.

+1 for TMZ. A South Bend SS/TZ is good for over 500 ft/lbs of torque and has much better street manners than anything you listed.
