Colder than you, North Dakota
I bought these injectors form a local friend he claims there evo 560's model #MDL 560 tops are pinkish in color, also when I order dsmlink should i select 550 or 600 for injector size.
Thanks

You DEFINATELY want to start out with bigger injectors than that with DSMlink. You can control 660s with a SAFC and upwards of 1600s with DSMlink. Why buy injectors and chips twice when you could just get 1000s and the chip once? The large injectors with DSMlink controlling them will not hinder your idle or any type of performance at all. They will act just like stock.

I don't plan on going any bigger than my big 16 just lookin for a good driver, so is this a good choice?

He has a very good point the 560's that you have will get over runned by that Big 16G, I would at least go with 750's if getting the DSM link. If you want to stay with your 560's I wouldn't spend the extra cash on the Link and just get a SAFCII. just my .02

How does this setup sound to run 260hp daily driver.

Big 16g, evo 560's , 255 fuel pump, fpr, dsmlink, gm maf-maft, fmic 34x8x3.5, 2.5'' recirc. o2

housing, 2.5'' turboback exhaust, slowboy cast exhaust maniifold, Innovate wideband and the obvious

gauges and boost controller. I just ask because this is what I have for parts I'm not looking to run big

boost just high enough to get a good tune with "93 octane hopefully". I know the dsmlink isn't a must

but I figure any edge on tuning to protect my investment this is how I would do it if I was running 450cc - 1600's.

you should be able to put down the amount of HP that you want with what you have and a SAFCII instead of the link , im not trying to down play the DSM link cause im ordering one too, Im just saying im already putting 283 with 550's and the SAFC II and my injectors are not enough I need bigger

What do you use for dataloging? Could I get a good clean tune on a big 16 with lower than 20psi even if it was less than 280hp's? How well do the safc 2's tune can you get chips burned "not a dsmlink chip" for an eprom to bring up your baseline for easiar tuning. Assuming everything is setup rite are you always playing around with safc 2 or does it hold a tune well because mine will be a daily driver? I know this is a lot of questions I understand tuning and it's variables.

If you're running the 560's and don't plan to go bigger you should be able to get away with a 190lp pump.
Also, have you taken a look at the fp race exhaust mani? They had a group buy at a pretty good price.

EVO injectors flow more like 580s and will easily cover anything smaller than an EVO 16g. They can be bought for so cheap, they are a good option. A rewired 190 will be cutting it very close though, but should be enough. I'd watch AFRs like a hawk above 20 psi until I felt it was safe.

EVO injectors can be had for $100-$180. DSMlink will go a long way. For his current setup and getting into the waters of tuning, DSMlink is a great way to go, he can get all the feedback from the car he needs, its very user friendly, and you have full control of fuel delivery and timing among other nice little features. Up against the retail for AFC3, $360 against Link being $560 (taken you already have an eeprom) In the end he would come out the same as he would if he bought bigger injectors and an AFC to try to control them, or get the Evo injectors cheap and Link to grow into. Also he can always re-sell the injectors later close to how much he paid for them becuase he's already buying it used. Unlike buying new things and only being able to sell it at half its retail cost. That money can go toward bigger injectors down the line if he so chooses to go beyond that 16G and by then he will have a little knowledge on tuning. :dsm:

Go team EVO FTW!I want to know what MAS you should use with the evo injectors and the 16g?
