It can be done if you swap an AWD tranny. Its not worth it. Get an LSD, preferably a clutch type one like a Kaaz.

What benefit is it to have equal length half-shafts? You can still get that one tire burnout with equal-length shafts if you don't have an LSD. Maybe if you are producing 1000whp and have to have equal-length because of broken driveline parts, but that doesn't include you. Smartass.
 
Here's another reason it's not done. The drivers side axle has a larger diameter than the passengers side. This was done so that both axles have the same stiffness, despite their different lengths. Why do the equal lengh halfshaft mod when the stock axles already have equal stffness?
