hey guys.
About 3 weeks back, my alternator's voltage regulator went, and blew most of the fuses and relays in my car. Fixed everything else, but I'm having a problem with my door locks. Both sides will lock, but both dont open. I have to manually unlock each door. I'm baffled as the locking function works.

What could be the problem here? All help is appreciated in advance.

Update: I looked today to see if there was any linkage that was being held up, and all seemed to move freely. I also looked at the service manual, and it says that there is a central locking computer or something similar. I was wondering if there was anything I could do to test that out. Thanks guys.

If you have a digital multimeter, you could find out if the door switches are seeing 12V (which should then be wired to a 2 relay system to enable the independant door lock function). I would guess those relays (which should be around the fuse panel?) are failing or not seeing controlling 12v power so the door switch becomes usless...
