Ok i got my eprom socketed and when i got it back all the leads didn't have solder on both sides of the board so i got out my gun and had the solder leak through onto the other side(talked to steve and he said you can only get to one side but you should have solder on both sides so this has to be the only way. Before i did the soldering myself i had a crazy amount of clicking coming from the dash so i guessed fuel relay possibly. Well after i did the soldering i went out there and tried it and i got no clicking at all but i also got no start( it did turn. My wide band reads straight air so i'm guessing it is still fuel relay. You guys think that having it click like it did could of messed up the relay. I am also doing a fuel pump this week and going to run a switch to it so will that eliminate that possibility of that relay i'm guessing. thanks and i hope it makes sense.

Ya i was going to find out how to jump the relay. There also was one clicking inside the hood. what one is that???

LOL so i am digging in. Im checking all relays. I will let u know what broke LOL.

Well to let the forums know don't give up to soon. I went out and messed around alittle bit but then i said it has to be the chip because my tach was going to 1000 when i just turned the key to on. My boost gauge also went all the way up( I didn't know it did that LOL) SO i messed around with the chip wiggling it around(i had a zif socket) and finally i got no rpm and boost bounce and walla she started and worked fine all yesterday. Sooo don't be discouraged. but also don't break anything LOL
