i thought i would add my 2 cents. it is possible that your boost guage is accurate. "0" on the boost guage is calibrated for 14.7~ psi(dont remember exact #) the standard atmospheric day. howerever i have rarely seen a standard day so its possible that on that day the barametric pressure was 2 psi over 14.7~.well thats my 2cents

To do that he'd have to be below sea level. On top of that, 2 psi is another .136 atmospheres which is pretty significant. I think it may very well just be off.

It's actually a Stewart Warner gauge, and I do think its off because I used to have
10-11 in. of vaccum and now its around 7-8. The car would have a very lumpy idle
if it was at 7 in. of vac. I talked to Eric at AMS and he said that they will replace it
at no charge, so I just need to find some time and stop by at AMS for a replacement.

AMS Eric #2 If its an Autometer, I'd say most likely its off.

What's up with that anyway? My autometer read perfectly at zero with the engine off for the first 6 months or so then it kept getting worse and has finally settled at about 1.5 psi with engine off. I'm not real happy about it but I just take that amount into account when reading off the gage
