Hi everyone, I just thought I'd share my homemade intercooler sprayer setup
The only part required was a $10 universal windshield washer kit, so it's a very cost-effective way to reduce intake temps if you don't have the $$ for a FMIC yet.
This is pretty much the kit I bought, cost $10
The washer bottle next to the battery wasn't there before
Here you can kinda see how the bottle is mounted:
Fluid check valve (had one lying around, dunno what they're worth):
This is kinda hard to tell, but that is the fluid line running to the bottom of the sprayer nozzle. The nozzle itself is mounted just in the plastic shroud by the intercooler.
Wiring was pretty simple; rather than run new wires through the firewall, I just hooked it up to the foglight relay. Now, the foglight button (to the left of the instrument cluster) turns on the sprayers.
And voila! Nice stream of coldness to the IC:

i think that would be even sweeter if it were in the trunk...and/or with ice cubes in it!
