hello, got a new gsx recently, and have had a hell of a time getting through emissions through a lack of components, and was curious as to whether I could disable all CEL’s through ecuflash in the same way as ECMlink, as I don’t currently have the money to purchase it, but I do have a few black box ecu’s lying around. I also have the ECMlink cable, I’m not sure if that would work to flash my ecu or not. Any help is appreciated as I’m really looking to get my car on the road.

You'll need the tactrix 2.0 cable to reflash, and EVOScan to log which is about $25 off of their site. These are the tables you'd be looking for to eliminate the CEL and activate/deactivate purge etc.

I dont think you could pass this way even with ECM link here in CT. They are looking for OBD system readiness, and I believe you must have a minimum of 5 out of 7 ready, rather than incomplete. If you just shut the light off with your tuning software and go for the test, the state equipment will not be able to connect and test the car...........ask me how I know. My car is a 97 so Ive got 2+ more years of this crap then Im done as it will have reached the 25 yr mark required to be exempt.

Little late but I figured it out. As long as you can get the cat and rear 02 to pass, you can just disable the other stuff and you meet the criteria for not ready lights.
