I noticed that my car has a dipstick from a 6 bolt (has metal ring). And to my knowledge my car has a 7 bolt motor. I know that I have a 7 bolt head, but I have not identified the motor. I just wanted to know if there are any differences, and if I should try to find a 7 bolt dipstick. Thanks!

Doesn't make sense that someone would run a 7 bolt head, I do not think it matters is there any specific reason?

Doesn't the 7 bolt head flow better?

I know they have to modify the head bolt holes for it to fit or something like that

To the best of my knowledge the 1g head flows better, but if the 2g head is fully ported it has a better velocity of flow.i have no evidence of this so please just take it with a grain of salt.
