Ok, so about a month ago I bought a MBC from Dejon and installed it as shown in there instructions. Now I'm reading that the way I installed it (Waste Gate> MBC > between BOV and Intake manifold) is wrong. I'm hearing that I should have put it to the turbo housing instead of in-line. As I recall there was a plug supplied that blocked off a nipple on my turbo. Is that where I need to put it?

That is how I had my SBR MBC hooked up for about a year before I sold my 2g. Never had a problem but have heard the BOV line was not very good for referencing pressure.

PS. Good choice on the Dejon... my SBR's adjustment bolt feel out along with the ball and spring and snapped a rod, hince costing me two grand.
 
Yeah, I think I'm gonna tie it into the turbo housing and replace the cut hose from the BOV to Intake manifold. Better safe than sorry right?
 
Im just curious what kind of mbc you bought from dejon tool? I had the dual stage mbc from them a while ago and it broke after using it for about a month or two. I just hope you dont have the same luck as me.

Technically you should NEVER T off the BOV line, If you bleed off too much pressure (the MBC has a bleeder hole to allow the gate to re-close), your BOV will flutter, or fail to blow off once you let off the throttle. However, this is normally just the case with piston style BOV's (1g, Blitz, Greedy), the HKS/Tial's, I believe, are not susceptible to this.

I run an HKS SSQV with a T for my Halman MBC, holds boost rock solid flat lined (according to logged boost via GM 3.3 bar in DSMlink), and the BOV still acts correctly.

Drill + Tap your Compressor elbow. You can put some teflon tape around the threads, and then seal the deal with some RTV. It doesn't look amazing but at least it wont leak.

Shouldn't I just use the little elbo already on the turbo that I capped off?
 
Ok so I finaly got around to going to Advance Auto to get a new tube. I connected the MBC to my turbo housing and replaced the BOV to Intake line that I cut. I took the car for a quick drive and I'm pretty sure I was able to shift smoother than before. Could this be possible? It seemed like before I would have to shift perfect in order to not have the car want to lurch forward between shifts. I'm gonna try to run the car with the high flow filter and see if that fixed my problem with the car over boosting between shifts!!! I'll update when I get it done.
 
Ok, so instead of taking the time to put in the high flow filter with adapter I just pulled out the air filter and left the airbox open. I drove it down the street and back and it ran perfect. No overboosting what so ever!!! I think it's time to start adding more mods!
