Is there a connection between too much crankcase pressure, and turbo oil starvation? I've already had a t-25, an evo16g, and a 16g rebuild go bad, with signs of way too much heat and metal-on-metal contact. I forgot to prime the 16g but it worked great for one month, until I suspect I overspooled it with a closed wastegate, then it made very loud spooling sounds, and stopped boosting. After a rebuild it still makes very loud spooling and very little boost like it is struggling.

Could the turbo die within a few seconds if I idled the car without priming the turbo?
Could too much crankcase pressure cause the oil feed to slow or stop since the oil would be pushing back up the oil return line? (I have oil leaking from the oil cap even with double up gaskets)

I'm probably going to have my turbo professionally rebuilt and balanced properly, so I want to make sure that it lasts the next time. I have to make sure the oil flow is sufficient, is there a good way to test this?
