Good idea. This damn weather is really killing my motivation to go out the the garage and finish the project. All I need to do is the oil drain wastegate and downpipe.

I still dont have my block and pistons back from the machine shop its been 3 weeks now this is really getting old ill never get it done at this rate.:banghead:

I told you were to take it. Tell those clowns to get it together.

yea i regret it now shits taking forever he better not be expecting me to pay full price for this shit either his service is terrible.

I wouldn't pay full price. Is there a contract of service saying when it would be done at all? I'd contact the BBB.

Be more assertive with the guy. My block would have been at another shop already, but yeah like Zach said go up there.

bro you really have to becareful in this situation, id go check out the situation asap. I had the same sort of situation when I had a shop do a full build on my fbody. They kept pushing the completion day back until one day I showed up unknown to find nothing had even been started and they actually were selling suspension parts off my car to finish other customer cars. I know this a extreme case but some shops these days you really have to camp out in their parking lot to make sure things are getting done.

I agree go check on it I had mine sitting at a local shop for about 2 months they told me they were really busy with other cars I understood and wasn't really in a hurry. I had already put down a payment on it as well to kinda speed up the process not the full amount but a decent down payment. I went to go check on it just to see they said they had gotten behind so it would be another week. Make a long story short I went back after a month still was sitting in the same place and they hadn't even made a work order for it I just got fed up with it and did it myself. Atleast blow up their phone and then show up randomly make sure you get something in writing from them.

Yeah this sucks Goonie. Had they finished their job you probably would have had a chance to make it to the meet with the dsm.

called the machine shop this morning and the guy said he had been backed up with other jobs and was finally caught back up and would be starting the milling on my block today, and he said it should all be done this week so i guess ill see what happens this week.

Well fellas, it looks like we'll have to move the date for this back once again.:( But, it will give some of us (ahem... Goonie, bwhite) some more time to make it out.:hellyeah:

The opening day is now Saturday, April 30th which we could do, or if everyone wants it on Friday we could do Friday, May 6th. Here's the link once again for more information.
