I installed a couple widebands in a few 2g's this last week and I get a check engine code for the o2 heater. Is there a way to get that to go away. Got DSM link in one car and the other is stock ecu.
Thanks in advance.
FWIW these are the new PLX kits that have a little extruded aluminum box controller and a guage. By far the most time consuming kits Ive installed.
(The reason being you have to add wires to connectors and solder your own power supply plug that goes into the unit.) Also with no calibration, some o2's I have installed by plx dont display on the guage correctly, but the sensors read their correct voltage. And why dsmlink doesnt go higher than 18:1 is beyond me.
Thanks in advance.
