i want to get a carbon fiber hood for my 2g. and i was wandering on all the different styles that are available. im not a big fan of the evo style. so i was wandering are these really the only 4 styles that are out there?

Seibon Carbon Fiber Products: Hoods, Trunk Lids, Fenders, Lip Spoilers, Accessories...

and i did search the threads and couldnt really find an answer to my question. so if anyone has pictures or links of other styles of hoods that would be great.

i just searched "carbon fiber hoods" and none of the threads really answered my question. 75% of them were about hood pins and whether you need them or not. like i said before this doesnt really answer my question...of what other styles are out there besides the same 4 that always seem to come up. about a year ago i found a site that had a tri slot (like the one on the supra in the first fast in the furious. i hate to make that reference but i liked that hood.) cf hood for a 2g eclipse. im just trying to explore my options as im not a big fan of the evo style. but i do want something with vents to let the hot air escape.

Importfan used to carry the eclipse hood with TRD - supra style vents on it. I ordered it for my car, received it in the mail all smashed up, and sent it back. I waited 3 months for a replacement and finally ended up with an OEM style, i called them and they said they stopped making it, then i saw one on ebay a few weeks ago. They're around but i'm not sure who is producing them, i think the company is called "midwest composites" or something along those lines, they sell on ebay occasionally.

Thank you for being so helpful and not difficult.:thumb:

np. they are also producing the "scoote" hood from the RX-7 which has the three vents on each side at a sort of angle. I'm going to be purchasing that hood and selling my OEM CF hood.
