Ok heres the story. Yesterday I spent 6 hours putting the car back together. Installing the 2g install kit, 14b, stainless lines, bending water lines, etc. BTW slowboys kit is hard to get fit. Well I take the car out last night, before I do i double check all the bolts etc. Im at 9lbs and in 2nd gear at like 5k when I notice my oil light pops on. I shut the car off immediatly, I then coast to a stop and look under the car and there is oil POURING out of the oil pan, but where from, from the drain plug, it fell out or backed out. So I get towed home, go buy a new drain plug, put oil in it, start her up, runs fine. No knocking or ticking nothing. Then I take her around the block again. Drive maybe 10 min normal, everything is fine. I pull off from this stop light and I hear this snap or something, the motor starts making this noise, the idle flutters, then it goes back to normal. I just figured it was a normal dsm mess up. Well I decide to make another pull. On the exact same road at the exact same spot. This time I was at 6k in 2nd. Then the car just shut off, didnt even try to stay alive, just flat out shut off. Now when I get off work im going to look at the crank pulley and see if its leaking oil, cause another local that just crankwalked said his car did the exact same thing. Made the snapping sound, was fine, then just died. With the oil falling out of the car yesterday, that may be very well possible. It turns over, but doesnt start. Anyone have any ideas?

The covers already off the timing belt and like I said when i try and start it it turns over and the ALL the belts move like they should.

Ive been told I crankwalked by a guy whos gst just walked 3 months ago. i ahve yet to look at the crank pulley for any oil. Is there any other way to tell?

Make sure all the timing marks still line up. The belt could have jumped on your second pull.

wouldnt the car still start but just with the base timing off? and tell me how to check. Im kind of shady on what to do. Cant remember.

If the timing is off more than a few teeth than no the car won't start and you will have bent valves in your head. Believe me I just finished replacing my head due to this. You have to remove the lower timing belt cover to check. It's pretty easy to remove just takes some time.
