after installing my dejon race frontmount and AGP RS49T, i took my car out for some EASY non boost driving. i wanted to make sure everything was running before i install my fuel mods tomorrow (walbro 255, 660cc densos, AFPR) (i know i should've done these first, but this is how things fell together). I have not pushed any boost, but when i get up to 0lbs and pop in the clutch, my revs drop dangerously low, and my car has even died once. I found a boost leak and remedied it, but that didnt solve the problem.

what could this be? Should i check for more leaks?

i have done a search, but have only turned up throttle position sensor as a possibility. now i did partially remove my throttle body installing my FMIC, but did not unplug ANYTHING, and bolted it right back up.

:toobad:

ahh yes forgot to say i am still recirculating my bov just like stock. it is a greddy type S.

no it's not the ISC motor... i never unplugged it, plus i idle fine and see adjustments when i turn on AC, headlights, etc.

Did you disconnect the battery? Both of my dsm's will run like that for a while after resetting the ecu. I guess it just needs to relearn from the factory ecu values. Even if you didn't reset it the new turbo may throw it off just enough to run strange for a while.

Is there a kink in the bov recirc hose going back to the intake? I had the same problem after I installed my 50 trim and fmic. If there's a kink, unkink it.

i checked the bov recirc hose carefully for kinks, and even chopped off part of my dejon intake's return line tube to make sure there WASN'T a kink. as far as the car just running like that for a while... i hope that is it!!

btw i checked my IAS motor with a V/O meter and it seems to be OK...

was the car cold? and between the omhs range? what is your idle at? 750 ?

Do you have a lightened flywheel?

no lightened flywheel.

when i performed the check, the car was cold. the resistance was 24ish ohms, which is slightly less than the range, but not enough to make a difference in my opinion (about 4 ohms).

idle was steady at 750 when the car was warmed up.

keep ideas comin!

If you have not performed a boost leak test yet after the fmic & turbo then you need to do one. I wasn't sure if you did or not because you said check for more leaks.
