bumper?

hey guys got my vrspeed fmic on my 90 gsx and was jus wonderin what people do for a bumper support my bumpers held on right now with zip ties and i dont really feel spending 170 for the jmfab bumper any advice would be great (pictures if you have them please) thanks guys

i will be in the same boat with you in a couple of days when i try to install my bushcar fmic.
i heard your suppose to trim your bumper and brace. btw ive been visually installing the fmic and from what i know it goes through a hole. on the left side of the car (if your looking at it) how do i fit it when my coolant tank thingy is there? can u take pictures of how you did it.

I did mine. I trimed the bumper with a grinder. A jigsaw would probably be easiest. Then I cut a lot out of the metal support. i dont have any pics but you can have an idea that there is a lot of cutting involved.

yea thats what i figured should be a nice weekend project thanks...i just got rid of my overflow and used a gatorade bottle the cap for the stock overflow fits the bottle perfect ill c if i can dig up any pics
