Broken egr bolt

One snapped flush to the mani when I was trying to get it out. I was in the process of installing a block off plate. I realize I must remove the Mani to drill it out properly, but I have a herniated disc in my back and I can't do this anytime soon. I applied some rtv and it bolted up snugly, albeit with only one bolt. How much pressure is actually coming out of there? I'm only running stock boost on this DD and I plan to do a BLT tomorrow.

Ugh, broken bolts are the worst.

I think it will hold but for how long is the question. Heat, Pressure eventually will work thru the RTV.

You could always buy my manifold cheap and just swap it out!! A lot easier than drilling.

Either way, I was curious as to how long this would hold since I'm unsure of the pressure. There must've been a tiny piece of the bolt sticking out because the plate just popped into place.
My back is killing me after just doing that block off, so even swapping a Mani is out of the question right now.

It should see the same boost pressure at the rest of the manifold. The egr valve bolt is not that bad, you could just drill straight threw and put a longer bolt with a nut to hold it in place.

Side question. I'm doing the egr delete but I can't get to the charcoal canister because the battery bracket bolts are rusted. Can I just leave the canister and snip the hoses that run to the tb?
