Okay, a friend of mine has a non running 1g AWD that he said that the driveshaft snapped, busted a hole in the oil pan, and therefore locked the engine up. Are there any other possible problems that could have arisen to do these conditions?

I would love this car, it's a 91 Talon. It was a sweet ride before hand, and was super fast.

I am new to all this so I need to know if I were to get this, what would need to be done? Do I need a whole new engine for it or what? If I do, then how much do six bolts generally run for?

Yo man from what ## saying it that happened it would probaby cost around 1200.00 or more to get fixed. Thats if ya do it yourself. Walk softly man thats a job that will take a while..:notgood:

Does it roll? I am wondering if maybe the tcase locked up causing the driveshaft to break and hit the pan. And maybe with the tcase being locked wont let the motor turn over. But even if you could rebuild or get a new bottom end. I just cant see hearing a loud blast and when you look to see what it is see oil and a busted driveshaft and leave it running let alone keep on truckin. Just a thought put into words!
