Brake Upgrade on 1Ga

Guys, will 1992 3000GT SL Calipers fit my 1Ga? I believe those are the same Calipers that are used in Diamante's and in 92-94 AWD (dual piston ones).

Will the rear ones fit? Or are they not worth upgrading to?

One of my front Brake Heat shields is broken... can I just remove those shields all together? What are the cons of that?

I have some 1g , 2 piston calipers for sale if you are interested. They are off a 94 talon. Let me know. I bought them for my 2g, but didnt want to get custom SS brake lines made, so I just but some 2g ones.

Anyone know if the 3000GT will work in the rear? Or is it not even worth upgrading to those?

how about 2g awd calipers?? will they fit on the 1g gst without having to get custom lines made or can i just install the regular 1g SS line kit??

2G Calipers have Banjo Fittings... so you WILL need custom lines to have the Banjo on one side and the 1G type on the other.
